Salted Maple Cinnamon Cold Brew
I’m not really a coffee girl. I used to think it was way too bitter, and the one time I gave it a proper shot, I ended up feeling like a zombie. It just wasn’t my thing. That was until my friend Victoria introduced me to caramel frappes, a sweet but salty creamy combo and a total game-changer. That one drink opened me up to a whole new world of coffee that’s actually enjoyable.
Fast forward to now, and this Salted Maple Cinnamon Cold Brew has become one of my favourites. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and spiced, with a tiny pinch of salt that brings everything to life. Think café vibes at home but without the long queues or tempting extras. And yes, you can make it in your kitchen with very little effort.

This recipe feels like the best of both worlds, that café-style iced drink we all love, but with a warm twist from the maple and cinnamon. And you don’t have to be a “coffee person” to enjoy it. Trust me, I was a full-on sceptic and now I make it every other week.

Salted Maple Cinnamon Cold Brew

Method
- Mix 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water in a large jar or jug. Stir, cover, and let it steep in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours. Then strain through a sieve.
- In a small glass or bowl, stir together the maple syrup, cinnamon and salt. This is what gives the drink its signature flavour.
- Fill a glass with ice, pour in the cold brew and your milk of choice, then stir in the maple-cinnamon mixture. Give it a good mix until everything is combined.
- If you want to take things up a notch, add a cinnamon stick or dust a little maple sugar on top and enjoy!
